Splash-water removal & engine room protection
Where to use?
Marine applications can see conditions where heavy sea splashing or “green-water” conditions exist at air intakes. This represents extremely high liquid loading that requires special designs than can handle these loadings. These intakes are generally close to the water line and are forward or seaward facing intakes.

The base design is a vertically oriented profile that has many and large surface features that can collect and drain large liquid loadings. In case of extremely large liquid loads (green-water) multiple stage SplashSep’s systems may be required. The SplashSep can also be fitted with a coalescing filter that will remove fog size droplets as well as act to block heavy liquid loads.
Why use SplashSep?
ENSEPATEC fully understands design and engineering requirements of air/liquid separators and can provide the best solution to maximize performance and minimize pressure loss and cost. As with all our products, they are available in a broad range of materials such as polypropylene, marine grade aluminium and various stainless steel alloys. Please contact with your process conditions, opening sizes and locations and we can make the necessary suggestions to provide you with maximum protection.
