Protecting the Electrical Powerhouse of the Wind Turbine

Illustration: Inside the wind-turbine nacelle

The generator-section of a Wind turbine is typically located in the nacelle behind the rotor-blades. For cooling of the generator fresh air is required. Ensepatec delivers highly efficient Intake Filtration Systems (IFS) to keep the electrical components inside the nacelle dry. Regardless of the weather conditions, if winter (snow and ice), marine environment (airborne sea salt) or rainy conditions (ingress of rain water), our IFS keep the insides of the nacelle dry.
