Sugar Industry
Removal of viscous sugar juices in multi-stage evaporation plant
The production steps of sugar typically include the extraction of sugar juice from either sugar cane or beet root, the clarification and evaporation of sugar juice, syrup treatment and sugar boiling, crystallization, centrifugation and drying.
Liquid-gas separators support the process run and efficiency in the multi-effect evaporation, where the exhaust steam of a boiling stage is deferred to the subsequent evaporator-stage, avoiding highly viscous droplets clogging the subsequent heat exchanger.
Liquid-gas separators are also common in certain other areas of the sugar production.
Ensepatec offers design, engineering and supply of liquid-gas separators for any application in the sugar production.
