Producing heat and electrical energy from biogas
In a biogas plant, biogas is produced by fermenting biomass. In a connected combined heat and power plant (CHP), electrical energy and heat can then be generated from the biogas. Another option is to refine the biogas in a gas-upgrading plant so that it can be used directly as biofuel or for heating.
Ensepatec provides reliable liquid-gas separators for the biogas plant and the combined CHP. The separators are all made from stainless steel to cope with the corrosive nature of carbondioxide and water being present in the biogas.
