Marine Based FGD Scrubbers
Mist Eliminators and wash systems
Mist Eliminators (ME) in marine based FGD scrubbers eliminate the absorbens (sea water) from the flue gas and avoid the contaminated sea water to escape into the environment. The mist eliminator retains the seawater in the scrubbing process and drains the liquid vertically back to the bottom of the scrubber.
The ME are typically produced from alloy steel to withstand the high temperatures and the corrosion from the flue gas.
In marine based FGD scrubbers, typically a single stage (1-layer) of ME is required.
Wash system to keep the surface clean
Wash systems from alloy steel and alloy spray nozzles ensure the durability and lifetime of the ME
Ensepatec focusses on
- light weight mist eliminators with adjustable removal efficiency
- segmented partitioning of the mist eliminator, easy to access and install
- modular wash systems with minimum wash water consumption
