The alternative to steam heating at for temperatures below 100°C, trace heating can be an alternative. This technology allows for temperature maintenance across a broad temperature range. The trace heating cables are connected to the outer shell of the vessel and additional external insulation maintains the temperature inside the pressure vessel at the required temperature level.

The units come fully equipped including all electrical terminal and control boxes, installed heating cables and on request with insulation.

Performance data

The removal efficiency of this type III separator is identical to type I and II. It can be as high as 2-3µm when using a coalescer pad, but typically ranges between 10 to 20µm.

The pressure loss depends on the operating conditions and varies with the choice of internals.
