Internals for Horizontal Flow
Ensepatec offers a broad selection of high performance separation internals for horizontal gas flows. These serve in a broad range of industrial, commercial and process applications.
Ensepatec internals for horizontal gas flows include the following types:
- Single pocket vane type separator
- Dual pocket vane type separator
- Coalescing pads
Ensepatec’s designs take advantage of being able to design at higher gas flowrates, better gas liquid separation, higher liquid load capacity and better drainage accounting for the higher removal efficiencies at smaller droplet sizes.
The typical differing types of internals offered include: agglomerators, single and double pocket vane type separators, liquid/gas distributors and flow straighteners aiming at maximum separation of liquids from continuous gas flows at the lowest possible pressure loss.
The design of the internals follows a logical design path which considers the operating conditions, the installation environment, accessibility, wash systems and a broad range of other parameters that effect optimum performance and the final design configuration.
Special care is taken for potential flow constraints caused by contraction or expansion of the gas stream that can create excessive maldistribution of the gas stream. The materials of construction include stainless steel basic alloys 304, 304L, 316, 316L but also includes other allows such as duplex steels and special nickel based alloys for very corrosive envirornment.
